At BrightNewMe we have multiple ways to treat acne scars, and often a combination of treatments might be indicated for best results.  Your options would always be discussed in advance, following a detailed consultation, which would include a detailed assessment of your skin. Some of those options are detailed below.

EDS Micro-needling

Micro-needling is particularly effective for treating scar tissue. The creation of thousands of microchannels causes the body to increase the production of collagen, and in doing so helps to smooth out the scar tissue for a more even appearance.

Prescription skincare

I also use prescription skin care, predominantly from the ZO Skin Health range, many of which products combine to encourage the production of new healthy skin, which in turn can cause scarring to fade.

Dermal fillers

Dermal fillers are made with Hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occurring substance in the skin known for its capacity to attract and retain many times its weight in moisture. Injecting a tiny amount under the scar lifts and smoothes the skin, greatly reducing the visibility of the scar.
