Helen Brankin has been an ever-present member of the team at BrightNewMe since we launched in 2012. In recent years she has fulfilled the role of Clinic Manager with great aplomb. Renowned for her good nature and liked by all, Helen keeps her finger firmly on the pulse, making sure our high standards of patient service are maintained. Away from work, Helen has a busy life with her husband, two grown-up daughters and extended family.

Dr Sarah Norman is co-founder and medical lead at BrightNewMe, and as such has her own dedicated page detailing her background and views on skincare and aesthetic treatments. She’s married to Mark, and mum to two young men who have recently finished university. Her hobbies include gardening, yoga, cooking, reading, walking and cycling (full disclosure: on an e-bike).

Hannah Young joined us in July 2017, having spent the previous ten years working as an account manager in the fashion industry. Hannah and Fran undertake the same roles, working both on reception and with Sarah as a clinical assistant. Away from the clinic, Hannah is a successful artist with her own small business. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and has two children.

Mark Hope is co-founder and co-Director of BrightNewMe, having helped launch the clinic with his wife Sarah Norman in 2012. An accountant by professional training, Mark generally oversees the smooth running of the clinic from the sanctuary of his office, but can often be found helping out on reception (or ‘getting in the way’, as other team members prefer to call it).  Mark is also a sports enthusiast, albeit rather more watching than playing these days.

Julie Hawkes is our longest standing Aesthetic Therapist, having joined us in January 2017. Julie qualified in South Africa in 1993 and has a wealth of experience clinically & in lecturing in the industry. Julie also works as a lab technician on histopathology samples. Her hobbies include volunteering, walking, gardening, & activities with her two teenage children.

Cheryl Hanrahan has been an aesthetic therapist for over 10 years and has extensive experience with a variety of aesthetic treatments. She is just as passionate about the benefits of healthy skin as the rest of the team. Outside of work she enjoys walking/ hiking with her daughter and two dogs.

Fran Shipley joined us in 2021 after previous jobs for many years in the beauty industry and then in admin. Fran and Hannah undertake the same roles, covering reception and also working as a clinical assistant with Sarah. Fran’s hobbies include socialising and running.
