The HydraFacial system
What is a HydraFacial?
The HydraFacial resurfacing procedure uses patented technology developed in USA by the inventor of micro-dermabrasion. The treatment combines detoxification, cleansing, deep exfoliation, re-hydration and rejuvenation to give immediate results and long-term benefits, without downtime or irritation.
The Technology
The unique 4-in-1 Vortex-Fusion® serum delivery system is what sets the HydraFacial apart from other procedures.
The multi-step treatment cleanses, exfoliates and extracts to remove impurities and dead skin cells, prior to replenishing the skin with vital nutrients including antioxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid. These active ingredients help mitigate environmental damage, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and plump and firm the skin.
The final step involves the use of red and infrared LED light to rejuvenate the skin by stimulating collagen production, leading to long-lasting improvements in skin health. Blue LED light is also used when treating acne skin.

Which treatment is right for me?
Four different protocols are available, as detailed below. For patients’ first HydraFacial experience at BrightNewMe we generally recommend the ‘Skin Health for Life’ protocol, which helps us to identify how reactive your skin might be. From this initial treatment and assessment, our therapists can then develop a bespoke plan, based on your own skin tolerance and tailored for your individual concerns.
The ‘Skin Health for Life’ protocol uses advanced complex serums filled with antioxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid to boost hydration and protect skin from environmental damage, leaving it recharged, renewed, and invigorated.
DETOX
Lymphatic drainage helps to increase circulation of the lymphatic system. This increases blood flow to the area, bringing oxygen to support the cells whilst also bringing fresh clean lymph to restore hydration, tone and firm the skin, and eliminate toxins.
CLEANSING & EXFOLIATION
Dead skin cells are gently exfoliated to reveal healthy, new skin whilst, simultaneously, a serum containing lactic acid, glucosamine and many botanical extracts is delivered deeply to cleanse and nourish the skin.
BRIGHTENING AGENT
This gentle glycolic and salicylic solution helps loosen debris from your pores ready for the extraction stage whilst brightening the appearance of the skin.

HYDRATION

The Anti-Ageing protocol uses the DermaBuilder multi-peptide anti-ageing serum to help diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also enhances the skin’s elasticity, for visibly noticeable plumping and tightening of the skin.

The Acne and Congested Skin protocol helps to improve active acne and congested skin by reducing the build-up of excess oils. It also improves scarring by providing even deeper exfoliation, using natural salicylic acid and application of different strengths of Glysal peel. Improvements can be seen from your first treatment, though a course of treatment is recommended for full effect.

PREVENTION
Blue LED light kills the p-bacteria acne which are the bacteria on the skin and one of the causes of acne. This reduces future breakouts and also helps calm down existing ones.

How much does treatment cost?
The cost of the signature ‘Skin Health for Life’ protocol is £120 for a single treatment. If a course (of six treatments) is booked then you pay only for five treatments, with the sixth treatment being free.
The cost of the Anti-Ageing protocol, the Pigmentation Reduction protocol, and the Acne/Congested Skin protocol are all £150 for a single treatment, whilst the redness reduction protocol is £165. Again, if a course (of six treatments) of any of these protocols is booked then you pay only for five treatments, with the sixth treatment being free.
Many patients follow their treatment with Dermalux LED light therapy (for enhanced skin benefits), the cost of which is £25 (as opposed to the normal £40) for a 30 minute session.
